My freind Neil, my torch, a long exposure and a creepy few minutes in a grave yard. Thanks to *smev for the levels and blacking out the trousers, I'm still very new to PS. And thanks to Neil for getting his kit off in the freezing cold!

This work looks really nice. However, I have a tutorial almost ready for Deviation coming up. But basically, I think you should first test you hand at some magnesium w/ heavy pressure fans and long shutter speeds, then, I think you'll get a better shot. By the way, the lighting looks superb, even though I can't see Red or Purple (damn my colorblindness).

LOL thanks alot. I had a go at doing a tutorial so you can draw in the air AND get your self posing in the shot. Got a few faves but never saw anybody try it.

This is lovely! I'd like to learn how to do this so perfectly...I've done similar things before but...yeah. Any tips?

When I say tips, I mean, I have no idea how to draw wings like that using a flashlight and have it come out so well. I guess I just need to go out in the dark with a "torch" and play, eh? :) I LOVE me a 30 second shot. :)

Hmmmm, well I guess you have to think that your standing behind a flat canvas. Try writting a few words first, obviously in mirror image to get you into it, then you will get an idea of where your going wrong because you will only be able to read the letters you did right. As for the camera set up (I'm sure you know this but humour me) I have it on a 30 second exposure with a 4.3 aperture. Go out when its as dark as you get it and just use the levels on photoshop (auot levels normally sorts it out quite well). A crystal clear night will bring the sky out in blue [link] and an overcast or cloudy night will come out in orange hints cause of the light pollution hitting the clouds [link] . Hope that helps.

Oh cool! Yeah...I'll try that some more, I think.

Also, I found out that we have that show Drawn Apart on our Adult Swim "channel" so...I can watch it now! :)
