Scene from a model village 4

An idea from a magazine. The picture is meant to look like a macro shot of a model village. I had a small try with an old holiday snap shot (which is in my scraps) but it was obvious I needed to get to higher ground to give the idea of standing over the village.
Having taken the original shot I'm not too sure how convincing the finished version is so really would be grateful of some input. Basically the manipulations are the obvious lens blur, some glow on the person and some dodging and burning to make the scenery a bit less real.

Really would like some input.

Oh and the full view is bigger than my normal full view to get a better look at the subject. So I would suggest a look.

Oh and of course, it had to get a bit bloody at some point! Kinda reminds me of Grand Theft Auto if anyone has played it.
